Ultimately, The Only Thing That Will Save Our Country Is If We Choose to Love Our Children More Than We Hate Each Other. — Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
We are living in a time when political theater has now become a circus. Our elected officials are the clowns who have allowed the health of our children to devolve into a health crisis of epidemic proportions. The ringleaders are the powerful mainstream media, along with Big Pharma, Big Food, and those active in the WEF. We the people have been sold out. What will it take to get accurate, scientific information out to the general public so that they will not continue to be misled by mainstream media (MSM) and our Congress?
Today, we are at an inflection point in the history of America. For the first time, there are more registered voters who define themselves as Independents than there are Democrats and Republicans. This is our opportunity — our once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to stop living in the news and political silos that we’re all so comfortable in and finally understand that we’re all AMERICANS. For the most part, we all want the same things. We want our children to be healthy and happy in their lives. We actually want them to have a better life than we’ve had ourselves. Children born over the last 10 years and through today, however, are the first generation in recorded history that is not expected to live longer than their parents.
We all want to breathe clean air and drink clean water. We created the EPA to protect the environment, and it has failed miserably during both Republican and Democratic administrations. We wanted our children to receive a premiere education and eat healthy food. Recently, we learned that our FDA, which was tasked with protecting our food and medicines, has failed us miserably, as we have the horrific distinction of having the highest level of chronic disease in the industrial world. We have the highest rate of infant mortality in the industrial world as well. We have a chronic disease epidemic among our children that is compromising their very lives. Again, these atrocities have been allowed to occur and continue in both Democratic and Republican administrations.
We all want our shot at the American dream. If you’re old enough to remember exactly what that was, how does this sound? If you worked hard, you could afford to buy a home for yourself and your family. You could take one family vacation each year and enjoy the fruits of your labor. That has become a pipe dream for most young families today.
It must be painfully obvious to every single American that our two-party system has failed us. Given the current status of Independents, we have a genuine opportunity to form a political party, the Independent Party, that can bridge the gap between the two dysfunctional parties. The reality is, however, that we will be told over and over again that an Independent politician can never win a federal election for President. MSM will point to Ross Perot and his efforts to capture the masses. We all witnessed how they used every trick in the book to malign Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during his Independent run for President. Despite his glowing record over 40 years as an environmental activist and attorney, who was recognized with the cover of Time as the “Hero of the Planet,” they were able to paint a picture of a “kook,” a crazy person, a liar, and a cheater whose apparent agenda was to mislead and misinform the public. I hope the irony isn’t lost here, as that is exactly what the MSM and our elected officials have been doing to us. If they tell us something over and over again, using the same phrases and words, they may very well convince us that it’s futile to attempt to revolutionize our political process. They’re using tactics that were generated by psychologists to assist in their military efforts to influence our enemies. It was never intended to be used against us — We the People — but that is exactly what has happened.
Until each and every one of us is willing to have a conversation with our neighbor, friend, co-worker, and family member who appears to support the other team, as they hold differing perspectives, we will never be able to come together. I’m not talking about the extremists in either party. Whether we’re talking about religious or political fundamentalism, these people will never be able to hear views other than their own. I’m talking about those people in your life whom you care about but have learned to “agree to disagree” in order to keep the peace, which basically means you can never have a discussion about important matters with them. You pretend that your differences don’t exist and put your attention on other topics, avoiding the possibility of friction. You stopped talking with each other about things that really matter. Here’s the unfortunate reality: we cannot bridge the political divide by maintaining that status quo. Democratic and Republican politicians realize that as long as we’re hating each other, we won’t have the bandwidth to see what is actually happening to us.
Here is an excellent recent example of this unacceptable political divide. Secretary Kennedy has determined that 17% of SNAP purchases are spent on soda and candy. What this means, essentially, is that public funds are contributing to the poisoning of our most vulnerable children and families. Kennedy has created the option for states to opt out of the current SNAP list of approved purchases and prevent the purchase of soda and candy with SNAP benefits. He’s not taking candy and soda off the market, but he’s saying the public isn’t going to fund your increased risks of obesity, diabetes, or chronic disease burden. You’ll have to use your own funds for that. After all, you can’t buy cigarettes or alcohol with SNAP benefits, for example. We now know that sugar is poison in the body. Here is a simple thing that can be done to reduce some of the purchasing of such unhealthy options. To date, not one Democratic state has accepted these changes in full. No one is suggesting that chronic diseases will cease or that obesity statistics will dramatically change if the SNAP rules change, but it will be one piece of the puzzle. In my opinion, there is no acceptable reason for any state to continue to fund candy and soda within the SNAP program. Currently, between 15 and 24 Republican states have signed on. The only realistic explanation that Democratic states haven’t is that it’s been initiated by Secretary Kennedy under the Trump administration. These states are willing to sacrifice the health of their children in order to prevent a win for Kennedy. That disgusts me, as I hope it does for you as well.
I can only hope this reality has gotten you thinking: what small change can I make to connect with those who hold some different positions than me? If you’re fed up with your political party, become an Independent and keep your eyes and ears open to encouraging steps to create an enhanced and viable Independent Party for the next presidential election. This is our chance. Don’t we owe it to our children? We’ve left them with a vulnerable and unhealthy America. We have a toxic environment, a chronic disease epidemic that is robbing our children of their well-being and health, a frightening increase in cancers among young adults, and an infertility crisis that is unprecedented. I believe there’s still time to turn this around, but it will be too late if we miss this next presidency. It’s now or never.
Perhaps you’d prefer what we’ve clearly been told by those in the WEF: “You will own nothing, and you will be happy.” They’ve apparently been setting the stage for this new world order for decades. COVID represented a setback that they hadn’t anticipated, but they did learn one critical bit of information: if they could create enough fear to make the vast majority of human beings around the world fear for their lives, we will be compliant and they will be able to control us. Is that the legacy you want to leave our children and our grandchildren?
We must each be the change agents we want to see. To do anything less will not stop this run away train that is threatening to change the very nature and quality of our daily lives.
I’m reminded of a valuable quote that I hope will inspire each and every one of you:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead, anthropologist and recipient of the Planetary Citizen of the Year Award in 1978.

Totally agree.
And that Margaret Mead quote never gets old. 💫
