I just don’t understand what is happening in this country. We have the data yet the powers that be aren’t interested in incorporating those findings into their Covid decisions going forward. We learned, many months ago, from an American Insurance Company, that there was a 40% increase in all cause mortality since the Covid vaccine rolled out. More recently, the CEO of a German insurance company also reported similar findings (be sure to click the translation button to read it in English).
Soon thereafter, the CEO of that company was abruptly fired after providing data to the public health officials.
So the data is available. Those who have been vaccinated, and even more so for those also boosted, have a significant increase in hospitalization when infected with Covid-19. Trialsitenews.com has been an outstanding resource, for the truth, for all things Covid. I have found their reporting to be extremely fair, typically providing both sides of an issue, so the reader can come to their own conclusions. Here’s an excellent example.
Fully vaccinated persons in Scotland are now hospitalized at greater levels than the fully unvaccinated, with an ever-growing number of the elderly becoming seriously ill because of vaccine durability issues. Due to the waning immunity of the COVID-19 vaccines, the elderly and other at-risk cohorts raise the fully vaccinated COVID-19 hospitalization levels higher than the unvaccinated. Of course, the vaccinated make up a much larger percentage of the total population. Hence, with breakthrough infections and leaky vaccines, the fully vaccinated represent a greater number of total people hospitalized. Nevertheless, this data counters the narrative that it’s primarily the unvaccinated that populate the great majority of hospital acute care and ICU beds…from Canada to England to Scotland, TrialSite reports that ever accumulating numbers of hospitalized patients are fully vaccinated.
Let’s not forget about the VAERS data that has clearly shown that the vaccines are harmful. With over 1 million adverse reactions from the Covid-19 vaccines, our public health authorities and by extension, your PCP, don’t believe that’s cause for concern. There have been more adverse effects from these vaccines over just the past 1 1/2 years, than the cumulative total of adverse events from ALL vaccines ever given over the last 50 years. Prior vaccination programs were always halted if 50 people died from the vaccination. Today, our public health agencies have decided that autopsy reports should not be done on suspicious vaccination related deaths. If they really believed the deaths were NOT caused by the vaccine, why wouldn’t they want to prove that with a forensic autopsy? We have utilized this method for cause of death for decades, yet today that’s not an option for those who died within hours, days, or weeks of vaccination.
If all things Covid isn’t enough to cause one to scream, how about what’s been happening in Trump world. According to ABC News, Trump took an initial extremely unpopular position regarding Putin’s invasion. His quotes leave nothing to the imagination.
"This is genius," Trump said. "Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine ... Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that's wonderful.." You gotta say, that's pretty savvy," To add to that anti-democratic philosophy, we have Tucker Carlson’s ongoing support of Putin. Putin couldn’t be happier that an American television personality on Fox News is praising his invasion. He has urged Russian state T.V. to include regular clips of Carlson in their news feeds. American propaganda of this sort fuels Putin’s narrative and yet our passion for free speech enables these outrageous commentators to add fuel to the fire of Putin’s autocratic regime. Why do we allow such broadcasts to continue? We censor our medical doctors and scientists but a Tucker Carlson is allowed to poison the airwaves. Not only does he support the invasion of Ukraine, he keeps the divide alive between the two political parties.
I believe we must find a way to prevent this type of dangerous op-ed reporting on our airways. Notice I’m not calling it journalism because it’s not. It’s a disinformation campaign meant to divide. Fortunately, the Ukrainian invasion has created the first real bipartisan support that we’ve seen in Congress in a long time. Even Trump realized he had to change his tune if he was to be supported. I can only hope that some of his fervent supporters will finally see him for the man that he is, and has been all along. He has never been a friend of Democracy. Despite his best efforts, we have finally made progress in re-establishing the U.S. as a global leader.
I would love to hear other’s perspective on the free speech issue. If our government can cite a state of emergency as a legitimate reason to prevent medical freedom for the general public and prohibit physicians from providing informed consent to their patients, or providing information about effective early treatments that haven’t been approved by our public health authorities (yet FDA approved drugs are being prescribed off-label every day ), why can’t the Tucker Carlson’s of the world be stopped? Yes, we are a country founded on the principles of free speech but I don’t believe the intention was to allow people to put out lies, false or misleading information to the public. Perhaps the best example is that one is not allowed to yell FIRE in a crowded theater if there is no evidence of a fire.
One might say that you can’t have it both ways. Free speech is free speech. I believe however that providing scientific information/research isn’t an opinion. If scientific information is provided by well respected, highly researched scientists or physicians, that is not an opinion. That is science. Can scientists disagree? Absolutely they can. That’s a healthy part of the scientific process and it’s called scientific debate. But today, our public health authorities have determined that legitimatie scientific debate isn’t allowed and in fact, they define it as “misinformation”. A physician can lose their license to practice medicine by simply sharing legitimate, scientific research with the public or with their patients. I don’t put that into the category of a personal opinion. What do you think?
I have captured the earlier comment by NCmom, as I receive an email whenever a comment is made, so I cut and pasted it and here it is again. I had provided a comment but that too was removed. IF this comment appears appropriately on the site, I will rewrite my comment. Thanks for your understanding.

It’s about power not a virus. Control is much easier when demands are based on ideology and not objective truth. Covid is just the latest manifestation of centralizing government control over society via narrative. 1984 is playing out in front of our eyes and will continue to do so until public laws and policies become rooted in objective truth again. This administration wants policies rooted in whatever they say. It’s not just Covid. It’s ideological indoctrination of children. It’s in climate narrative that massively misrepresents the actual impact of IPCC estimates and demands rejection of clean and affordable energy like nuclear and natural gas instead opting for ecological destructive “renewables” that cannot power modern life. It’s in the narrative around Ukraine where we are supposed to ignore that Zelensky is an authoritarian and the Ukrainian government castrating captured Russian soldiers a war crime because we aren’t allowed to oppose Russia’s predictable (and preventable) invasion for what it is. No, our “leaders” demand we must lionize Zelensky as embracing an idealistic leadership style that he doesn’t actually embrace. If we don’t make up stuff to lionize an authoritarian people might be calling for peace and not to send tens of billions to the US military industrial complex to provide Ukraine with more weapons of death as we inch terrifyingly close to WW III and most of the world’s population turns their back in our neoliberal and neocon insistence on constant interference in global armed conflict that mostly just destroys live, societies, and spreads misery for over the last 2 decades. This is about the WEF’s long and clear goals to make western countries poorer. To destroy our once few societies just as they destroyed our once free economy. This is about hoping people own nothing by 2030 and demanding they be happy anyway. If you think it’s about a virus none of it makes sense, but that’s because it’s about controlling people and not a virus.
So, the government can be trusted to not lie about its war policies? I appreciate Tucker Carlson acting as a journalist rather than as a stenographer for the government when it comes to war and public health policy. In my opinion the US is responsible for engineering a coup d'etat in Ukraine in 2014, relying on Nazis to carry out the coup and to pressure the government to carry out anti-Russian policies advocated by the Nazis. There has been a civil war going on in East Ukraine since 2014, killing over 11,000 civilians and over 3,000 combatants in east Ukraine. Repressive measures taken against those who protested the coup included the herding of protesters into a trade union office building that was torched, burning to death over 40 people, others who survived after jumping out of windows were killed. Ethnic Russian in Ukraine lost their civil rights, have been denied pension payment. The Russian language was banned. The expression of "pro-Russian" views became a violation of the criminal code punishable by imprisonment. Since 2019 Zelenski has kept the leader of the most popular opposition party under house arrest for advocating "pro-Russian" policies. Since the Russian invasion, all opposition parties have been banned and the news media placed under the editorial control of the government. The government in Ukraine has been a puppet of the US and the ultra-nationalists and self-identified Nazis. The goal of the Biden administration is regime change in Russia. That was the point of using its influence over Ukraine's government to adopt a hostile attitude toward Russia and ethnic Russians. Ukraine was not formally admitted into NATO, but has been trained and equipped by NATO and conducted joint military exercises with NATO. The constitution of Ukraine was amended during the tenure of Zelenski to require the government to seek NATO membership. NATO membership has been an announced "red line" for the Russian government since 2008. In my opinion, Russia had no good options other than to militarily intervene. The US foreign policy establishment hopes that the combination of sanction and a large scale military operation will lead to a popular revolt and regime change in Russia.
